epilepsi med recidiverende unilaterale anfald hos børn A type of epilepsy with only focal onset epileptic seizures. Seizures can arise from a single location or multiple locations.
Epileptisk drop-attak A generalized onset seizure type with a myoclonic jerk leading to an atonic motor component. This type was previously called myoclonic-astatic. A seizure originating at some point within, and rapidly engaging, bilaterally distributed networks.
Epileptisk drop-attak An epileptic seizure consisting of sudden loss or diminution of muscle tone without apparent preceding myoclonic or tonic event, lasting approximately one to two seconds, involving head, trunk, jaw, or limb musculature, regardless of whether focal, generalised, or unknown onset, and whether aware or with impaired awareness.
Epileptisk drop-attak An epileptic seizure consisting of sudden, brief (less than 100 milliseconds) involuntary single or multiple contraction(s) of muscle(s) or muscle groups of variable topography (axial, proximal limb, distal), regardless of whether focal, generalised, or unknown onset, and whether aware or impaired awareness. Myoclonus is less regularly repetitive and less sustained than is clonus.
Epileptisk drop-attak A sequence consisting of bilateral symmetric or sometimes asymmetric tonic contraction and then bilateral clonic contraction of somatic muscles, usually associated with autonomic phenomena and loss of awareness. A seizure originating at some point within, and rapidly engaging, bilaterally distributed networks.
Epileptisk drop-attak An epileptic seizure with a sustained increase in muscle contraction lasting a few seconds to minutes, regardless of whether focal, generalised, or unknown onset, and whether aware or with impaired awareness.
