Descriptions:

Id Description Lang Type Status Case? Module
5084698016 Congenital azygos continuation of inferior vena cava (disorder) en Fully specified name Active Case insensitive SNOMED CT core
5084699012 Congenital azygos continuation of inferior vena cava en Synonym Active Case insensitive SNOMED CT core
5084700013 Inferior vena cava interruption with azygos continuation en Synonym Active Case insensitive SNOMED CT core
5084702017 Azygos continuation of inferior caval vein en Synonym Active Case insensitive SNOMED CT core
5084701012 A rare vascular anomaly with characteristics of absence of the hepatic segment of the inferior vena cava and presence of an enlarged azygos vein (or in rare cases hemiazygos vein, if there is a left-sided inferior vena cava) draining the venous blood from the caudal segments. The post-hepatic segment of the inferior vena cava is present, draining only the hepatic veins into the right atrium. Most patients remain asymptomatic, if the anomaly is isolated.
